Unlike surfing, stand up paddling did not originate in Hawaii. The Hawaiian islands quickly adopted this new use for a board and in that vein, I offer Stand Up Paddle Board rentals. While you can, of course, serenely paddle your board outside the break, I have found it much more fun to make use of the paddle not only to catch waves, but also to act as a rudder for steering purposes.
